Gators finish top ten in first Fall tournament

The Florida Gators women’s golf team began their season Monday. The team traveled to the Yeamans Hall Club in Charleston, South Carolina, for the Cougar Classic. UF finished the tournament seventh out of 17 teams that participated.

Florida men's tennis head coach aims for 13th SEC title

After 11 successful seasons, former head coach Bryan Shelton stepped down to spend more time coaching his son, Ben Shelton, who reached the semifinal of the US Open Sept. 8. Three weeks after Bryan Shelton stepped down, UF Athletic Director Scott Stricklin hired Steinberg for the upcoming season.

Florida finally tastes victory in Tennessee tuneup

The Florida Gators (1-1) cruised past the McNeese State Cowboys (0-2) 49-7 Sept. 9. The win snapped a four-game Florida skid and secured the Gators’ first victory of the season. Head coach Billy Napier was pleased with his team’s performance in the commanding win.

Gators open season with head-scratching loss

The Florida Gators (0-1) fell to the No. 14 Utah Utes (1-0) 24-11 to open the 2023 season. The Gators suffered miscues in every facet of play and quickly fell behind to Utah, which was without its senior starting quarterback Cameron Rising.
