The Florida Gators Men’s Golf team came up just short in match play against Florida State and Georgia Tech at the East Lake Cup in Atlanta, Georgia. The Gators made it to the consolation finals on the last day of the event.
Fifth-year senior John DuBois appeared in the lineup only three times his freshman year. In his senior season a year ago, he stood on the 18th hole of the national championship semi-final and made a putt that kept his team’s hopes for a title alive.
The Gators teed off Monday at Old Waverly Club in West Point, Mississippi. UF came out victorious in the 12-team tournament. Senior Maisie Filler won back-to-back tournaments as the Gators claimed their third tournament victory of the season.
The Gators teed off Sunday at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Maryland. UF came out victorious in the 13-team tournament. Florida swept the Georgetown Intercollegiate as sophomore Matthew Kress led the way for the Gators as the individual champion. The victory marked the team’s first of the 2023-2024 season and the 22nd under head coach J.C. Deacon.
The team teed off Monday at the Governors Club in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. UF came out victorious in the 14-team tournament. Senior Maisie Filler shot the second lowest score in program history in the opening round. Her impressive 8-under 64 first round lead the way for the Gators. Filler’s outing earned her first place on the player leaderboard through the first 36 holes.
The Florida Gators Men’s Golf team traveled to Eagle Point Golf Club for The Williams Cup in Wilmington, North Carolina, this week. UF finished Xth in the 54-hole tournament.
The Gators placed seventh in stroke play Tuesday at the SEC Fall Preview and forced match play with the Crimson Tide Wednesday before UF fell 3-2.
The Florida Gators women’s golf team put their skills on display Monday and Tuesday. The team teed off at the Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio, for the Glass City Invitational. UF won the 10-team tournament.
The Florida Gators Men’s Golf team had their first tournament of the 2023-24 season this weekend. The team hit the road to travel to Olympia Fields Country Club in Chicago for the Fighting Illini Invitational. UF finished the tournament ninth out of 15 teams that competed.
Friday will be Luke Poulter’s opportunity to embark on his own journey as he tees off for the first time as a Florida Gator.

The Florida men’s golf team scored 12-under-par at the NCAA regional tournament to make the top-five cut. After a fourth place finish, the Gators will advance to the National Collegiate Athletic Association National Championship.

The Florida men’s golf team traveled to St. Simons, Georgia, to compete in the Southeastern Conference Championship tournament Wednesday. UF beat the No. 1-seed Vanderbilt Commodores.
