Florida wins regular season finale behind Correa’s career day

The shot capped off a career day for Correa and helped the Gators secure a victory in their regular-season finale. The Florida Gators (16-13, 5-11 SEC) defeated the Missouri Tigers (17-12, 6-10 SEC) 61-52 Sunday afternoon. UF shot just 31% from the field but forced 14 turnovers and held the Tigers to 34% from the field to win the game.

Florida crushed on road by No. 1 South Carolina

The Florida Gators (14-12, 3-10 SEC) fell to the No. 1 South Carolina Gamecocks (26-0, 12-0 SEC) 87-56 Thursday night. The Gamecocks outrebounded UF 55-27 in the dominant victory. Three Florida forwards fouled out of the game as it battled against South Carolina’s size inside.

Shooting woes, turnovers plague Florida in blowout loss

The Florida Gators (14-11, 3-9 SEC) fell to the Georgia Bulldogs (17-9, 6-6 SEC) 81-55, as the Bulldogs completed the season sweep against the Gators. Georgia took advantage of Florida's offensive struggles and turnovers. The Bulldogs built a large lead early and never looked back.

Tennessee towers over Florida in SEC opener

The Florida Gators (11-3, 0-1) fell to the Tennessee Lady Volunteers (9-6, 1-0) in their first SEC battle, sans senior guard Leilani Correa. The conference opener saw Rocky Top stay on top 77-67, extending Tennessee’s lead in meetings between the two programs 55-5.
