The SEC announced Friday evening that Florida’s game against Missouri on Oct. 24 was moved to Oct. 31.

In light of the postponement of two conference games originally scheduled for Oct. 17 to Dec. 12, including UF’s game against LSU, the SEC shuffled several dates and start times around.

Gators athletic director Scott Stricklin announced Wednesday that the UF-LSU game was postponed following a COVID-19 outbreak within the program. Stricklin explained that the team would be pausing all activities indefinitely after finding 21 players tested positive for the virus. To accommodate for this, the UF-Missouri game will take place Oct. 31 at 7:30 p.m. instead of Oct. 24. As a result, Missouri’s game against Kentucky has been moved from Oct. 31 to Oct. 24 at 4:00 p.m. to allow for the Halloween match up against the Gators.
