Yes, AI is convenient and makes life much easier. But that’s not an excuse to continue using it after recognizing it’s harmful. Reacting to whistleblowers with concern is incredibly hypocritical when AI is still constantly being used despite the warnings. The hypocrisy of the situation makes it hard to take people seriously when they express unease over AI use.
It can be easy to separate the art from the artist. But artists pour themselves and their beliefs into their creations. When we interact with their art, we are interacting with who they are as a person. There’s no way to completely ignore the artist when appreciating their art.
Dance is an artistic expression of an emotion or idea through movement. It gives shape to feelings that can’t be conveyed verbally. But while dance is incredibly artistic, it also has an athletic side that would be naive to discredit.
