UF removes Aaron Hernandez brick in wake of murder charge

Aaron Hernandez’s All-America brick is removed from outside the James W. “Bill” Heavener Football Complex on Thursday. UF decided to remove the brick while the former UF tight end faces murder charges.   Ed. note: The caption originally misstated the location of the brick in one location. It is not at Gator Walk, but outside the Heavener Football Complex.

Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW) members Darinel Sales, Oscar Otzoy and Wilson Perez are bicycling the entire 200 miles from Immokalee, Fla., to Lakeland, Fla., as delegates from the CIW to personally invite Publix CEO Ed Crenshaw to visit Immokalee and learn about the Campaign for Fair Food.
