A Gainesville Police Department officer saw Jenkins at 12:35 a.m.
sitting in a car smoking a cigar in a parking lot at 104 N. Main

Times-Union. Jenkins left the car after the officer saw him,
but the officer found a burnt marijuana cigar in the car's center
console.
Jenkins was given a notice to appear for possession of less than 20
grams of cannabis and is set for a May 12 court date, according to
the release. GPD incident reports are unavailable on
weekends.
Jenkins was also cited for possession of marijuana in January and

2009, Jenkins was Tasered and charged with affray and resisting an

The charges for fighting were later dropped, and Jenkins signed a
deferred prosecution agreement in December 2009.
