Florida’s junior guard Laila Reynolds, a key member of Florida’s “Big 3,” announced on Instagram today that she will enter the transfer portal.

Reynolds arrived in Gainesville as a top-20 recruit in the 2023 class and quickly lived up to expectations. She became just the second McDonald’s All-American in program history, bringing elite scoring ability and versatility to Florida’s backcourt.

Her departure, coupled with Liv McGill also entering the portal, means Florida is set to lose both of its McDonald’s All-Americans in one cycle.

With two cornerstone players now gone, the Gators’ core is rapidly unraveling, leaving major questions about how the program will regroup moving forward.
