This post concludes what movies are coming out this summer depending on what group you are in. But by all means, if you want to see a movie that isn't in a group you consider yourself to be a part of – go see that movie. People never see enough movies in my opinion (good ones at least).

“The Hunger Games” seems to be the “it” property right now. I know many people who have read the book and are excited for the film adaptation. I haven't read the book because from what I have heard of the story it sounds like a knock-off of “Battle Royale.” But I could be wrong – that excellent story could have just been inspiration for “The Hunger Games.”

Next to “Twilight” fans, comic book geeks and romantic-comedy couples, children are the most marketed group in the movie business. Making a film for children doesn't take much effort and is guaranteed to make money since parents need something to distract their kids, right?
