Museum program expands scientific learning for children

Funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, Museum in the Parks is run by the Florida Museum of Natural History in Gainesville and focuses on enhancing children's understanding of and engagement with wildlife by teaching them about topics such as plants, animals and entire ecosystems.

FSU pitching keeps Gator batters at bay

The No. 14 Florida Gators (32-15, 8-10 SEC) lost to the No. 4 Florida State Seminoles (40-8, 16-2 ACC) 5-3 at Seminole Stadium Wednesday. FSU held UF to a .167 hitting percentage and struck the Gators out nine times through three Seminoles pitchers.

UF announces Levin College of Law interim dean

UF Provost Joe Glover announced that law professor Merritt McAlister will fill in the position of Levin College of Law interim dean in an administrative memo sent Wednesday afternoon. McAlister will begin in her role June 1. UF plans to conduct a national search to replace former dean Laura Rosenbury soon, according to the memo

Gronk talks “Party” Reputation, College Experience

UF students filled the Stephen C. O'Connell Center Tuesday night for the ACCENT Speakers Bureau’s final show of the semester. Former National League Football tight end Rob Gronkowski spoke about his time in the NFL, his "party" reputation and his college experience.
