UF ‘inject-in’ protest shows support for gender-affirming care

UF’s LGBTQ+ community and allies swarmed the UF Student Health Care Center April 7 for an inject-in to protest the DeSantis administration’s gender-affirming care audit and legislation like House Bill 1421 and Senate Bill 254. During the protest, a group of demonstrators participated in an “inject-in,” where they injected themselves with hormone replacement therapy treatment.

Volunteers rout Gators in mercy-rule victory to avoid sweep

A day after showcasing his light tower power at Lindsey Nelson Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee, the sophomore failed to prove his prowess on the mound. The No. 3 Florida Gators (27-6, 9-3 SEC) were unable to recover from Caglianone’s rough start in a 14-3 mercy-rule loss to the No. 11 Tennessee Volunteers (22-10, 5-7 SEC) Saturday afternoon.

No. 15 Florida held scoreless by No. 19 Auburn

The No. 15 Florida Gators lost to the No. 19 Auburn Tigers 7-0 at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium Saturday. The Gators only recorded four hits throughout the game and were held scoreless for the fifth time this season due to the pitching of Tigers junior pitcher Maddie Penta.
