UF’s honors program changes requirements for completion

In the past, honors students were required to take four honors courses and participate in an internship, research, community service or study abroad. Students entering the honors college after Summer B 2012 will be required to graduate with honors from their college and earn at least 14 points for participating in both academic and enrichment activities.

Belly dancing classes return

RecSports first offered belly dancing during the 2010-2011 academic year, but the class wasn’t renewed last year due to a scheduling conflict with instructor Paige Rechtman, a 27-year-old mental health counseling graduate student.

UF film class brings games to community

Gillislee's career day fuels Gators in season opener

At this rate, Mike Gillislee will eclipse 2,000 yards and surpass his touchdown prediction. After saying he’d reach 1,500 yards and 24 touchdowns at Southeastern Conference Media Days in July, the senior running back made an early push to the seemingly unreachable goals.
