Gators roll through Vanderbilt

Billy Donovan’s final game against Vanderbilt was almost exactly five years ago. The Gators lost an ugly 50-47 game in the middle of a disappointing campaign where they went 16-17 and missed out on both the NCAA Tournament and the NIT for the first time since 1997.

Lee Harington will lead the kirtan this evening.

Heart-opening kirtan to be held on Valentine’s Day

Sitting on the floor, everyone breathes deeply as they sing rich, warm Tibetan-inspired mantras. On the ground with everyone else, Lee Mirabai Harrington, a 50-year-old from New York, leads the group. As she gazes around the room, she directs the healing mantras toward each person in hopes that they truly heal the individual. Even if they are in the back of the crowded room, their eyes will flutter open when Harrington’s eyes rest on their face.

Cheryl '77 – Love and Reflection

This week, I have eagerly anticipated the Cheryl ’77 podcast episodes by UF’s Alisson Clark and Emily Cardinali. Alisson and Emily are on a mission to discover the author and intended recipient of a love note inscribed in the concrete sidewalk just off University Avenue in the courtyard by Matherly Hall  on UF’s campus.
