Today marks the end of a long 105 days of studies, lectures and deadlines, and students looking to party have plenty of options to get down.
The Gainesville Police Department is calling on UF students to help them identify, catch and arrest a wanted man who robbed and raped a local woman Sunday.
April 12, 1965: The U.S. Department of Education awards UF a $400,000 grant to start up a proposed Graduate School and Center for International Studies. The money comes as good news for the expanding graduate program, which projects its enrollment will be at about 3,000 by 1970.
Grooveshark, the local startup music website that became one of Time Magazine’s top 50 sites of 2010, went back to its roots Saturday when it hosted its first official Battle of the Bands at the Bo Diddley Community Plaza.
