Campus preacher needs a replacement
By Greg Ines | Sep. 30, 2007Although I am not familiar with the departure of Joey Johnsen from Turlington Plaza, I felt compelled to respond to Ryan Heuser's Friday letter to the editor. His letter resounded with sorrowful loss, which many of us have or will experience in this life sooner or later. But his damnation decree for UF students without Johnsen is not the way to grieve a loss. Another preacher, Charles Stanley, once said, "It is not Jesus' voice accusing us of constantly falling short. He is the one who lives to intercede for us."
