Alachua County Jail detention officer arrested following battery accusations against employee

An Alachua County Jail detention officer is on administrative leave after deputies arrested him for domestic violence against another Alachua County Sheriff’s Office employee.

The drive, organized by UEPA, CASA, DSA, CaribSA, and Tau Kappa Epsilon, are collecting final donations today. So far, they have collected 400 pounds of supplies to send to the Bahamas.
